Mr. Irwin N. Graulich, Noted Jewish Lecturer and Motivator, to speak at Syracuse University Hillel.
Hillel of Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, is featuring Mr. Irwin N. Graulich as its special guest speaker for the Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance) program on Monday, April 12th, at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Graulich will be dealing with the difficult question that has gnawed at the hearts and minds of Jews for the past 50 years. "If God Took The Jews Out Of Egypt, Why Didn't He Take Them Out Of Europe?"
As a recent article about him stated, "Mr. Graulich has chutzpah to attempt to answer the dilemma of "Where was God during the Holocaust?" However, he has accomplished his goal in an intelligent, rational, fascinating way."
Irwin Graulich recently returned from a weekend in Puerto Rico where he was scholar-in-residence at Shaare Tzedek Synagogue/San Juan, and addressed a variety of topics including "Why Be Jewish," "Sex, Relationships and Raising A Jewish Family Into The 21st Century," and "The Real Reason For Anti-Semitism."
In addition to speaking in over 50 Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Synagogues during the recent programming season, Irwin has lectured on "Who is a Jew and What Is A Jew" and "The Real Problems Facing Israel," for the Zionist Organization of America. He was recently named permanent scholar-in-residence for the Hadassah/Al Galgalim Jewish Outreach Program of Westchester. As Dr. Bunny Niles, President of Hadassah recently wrote, "Irwin has turned on more people to the beauty and power of Judaism than anyone I know. He makes us think and act better."
